Paving Before You Paint
Striping over failing asphalt wastes money. If your lot needs structural work before we paint, we handle the paving. We check the subgrade first, as the clay soils in northwest Georgia can shift and cause base movement. If we are building from scratch, we apply a prime coat to an untreated granular base when specified. For overlays, we use an asphalt distributor to apply a tack coat between asphalt layers to promote bonding. We then deliver hot-mix asphalt by truck and spread it to the required width and thickness with an asphalt paver and screed. Once the new surface is cured, we lay out the new lines.
Layout and Striping
Faded striping costs you spaces because people avoid parking in areas they cannot clearly identify. ADA compliance also requires visible markings and van-accessible designations for the spaces closest to your building entrance. We measure and mark the layout so stall widths, fire-lane setbacks, and pedestrian crossings meet local codes. We also ensure the pavement plan moves runoff away from the surface, preventing standing water from degrading the new paint.

Pricing the Job
Striping quotes depend on linear footage and layout complexity. Longer lots with more stalls cost more than a simple four-stall pad. Logos, arrows, text, and ADA symbols require template work and careful layout time, which factors into the estimate. If we are already on site doing the paving work with our paver and distributor, we sequence the striping as the final step.
